Cheese Melters & Salamanders

Cheese melters and Salamanders are very different, if you're looking to cook your food go with a salamander unit. Cheese melters only toast or warm the top of the already cooked food you put in it. Salamanders can cook various foods from veggies to meats on extremely high heat like a mini broiler.

Fun Fact: The mythical salamander lizard could live in fire and control it which is how the appliance got its name.
