This Dual-Layer Stainless Steel accessory reduces the distance required to the ceiling to just 14 Inches from 42 Inches. This allows you to achieve the optimum height of 8 feet below the heater with ceilings as low as 10' 2 high. The Heat Deflector is also recommended for all installations where the heater is open to the elements to keep rain from entering the heater.
