• If a Shat-R-Shield lamp is broken, virtually all glass, mercury and phosphors are safely contained in the coating.

• The skin-tight coating prevents dust, oil and heat buildup which causes lower lumen output and premature lamp burnout.

• Safe, quick and easy installation - even an 8' lamp can be easily installed by one person.

• No end caps. End caps and sleeves are affected by heat, which can cause them to droop, discolor or become brittle.
  The thickness of end caps will reduce pin contact and lamp security in the fixture.

• Safe installation and disposal - you never touch bare, unprotected glass.
